A TEXAS TWO-STEP FOR ADAMS GOLF

Scott Hoch delivered at the FedEx Kinko's Classic in Austin ... and so did fellow Adams Golf Tour Staff Pro, D.A. Weibring.

Scott Hoch picked up his first Champions Tour win and D.A. Weibring was not far behind finishing in second place. It was a Lone Star State Showdown for Adams Golf.

Hoch, who turned 50 last year but has battled left wrist problems since surgery in late 2005, finished the event with a 15-under 201 total at The Hills Country Club. He earned $240,000.

Weibring finished with a 67, and at 13 under for the tournament. It was his best finish since a win at the 2005 Bruno's Memorial Classic.

"This is very satisfying. I hung on to win, but it feels good," Hoch said. "They certainly didn't make it easy on me today, but it always feels good to win when you've been tested."

ADAMS GOLF TOUR STAFF PRO BRITTANY LINCICOME WINS SECOND LPGA VICTORY

Adams Golf Tour Staff Pro Brittany Lincicome’s dramatic one-shot victory at the Ginn Open on Sunday was her second LPGA Tour victory in the span of nine months. The 21-year-old Lincicome has earned a reputation as one of the bright, young stars on tour ranking second on this year’s official Money List. With her win at the Ginn Open, Lincicome became the second automatic qualifier for the ADT Championship.

In tough conditions similar to British Open-style winds, with gusts near 40 mph, Lincicome trusted the performance and precision of her Adams Golf equipment. She played the new Insight BTY Driver (10.5¥), Insight BTY Fairway Wood (14.5¥), an Idea Pro Hybrid (22¥), and the Idea Pro Forged Irons (4-PW).

"The conditions were very difficult today and I just had to stay patient and trust my swing and trust my clubs,” said Lincicome, who not only won a $390,000 paycheck but also a new convertible. “It was a real test out there for all of us having to factor in the amount of wind and what that does to distance and accuracy. I was very pleased with my ball flight all day and the consistent distances I was getting out of my Adams Golf clubs.”

The final round was an impressive challenge for Lincicome similar to last year’s HSBC Match Play Championship when she defeated a “Who’s Who” in women’s golf. On Sunday she outlasted an LPGA veteran and four-time major winner along with the #2 ranked player in the World Golf Rankings.

“We congratulate Brittany for her exciting victory at the Ginn Open,” said Chip Brewer, Adams Golf CEO. “She displayed poise and terrific ball striking down the stretch to outplay some of the biggest names in golf. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Brittany on our staff and look forward to more big wins from her.”

ADAMS GOLF TOUR STAFF PRO TOM WATSON WINS OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE PRO-AM
Watson Plays Two Idea Pro Hybrids En Route To Victory

Adams Golf Tour Staff Pro Tom Watson captured his ninth career Champions Tour title with a one-stroke victory at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am in Lutz, Fla. With temperatures in the low 40s during the final round, Watson not only battled the competition but also the elements.

"I've never been this cold, even at the British Open,” the five-time British Open Champion said. “I guess after all I've played in Florida it has just never been cold enough. It took Kansas City weather to make it happen."

This was Watson’s first-ever win in Florida after playing in 93 pro events. He finished at 4-under and earned $240,000. In his bag for his first victory in 2007 was a 9.5-degree Redline RPM Dual Driver, the new Insight BTY 3-Wood, 18 and 20-degree Idea Pro Hybrids, and the Idea Pro Forged Irons.

“We congratulate Tom on another terrific victory. He’s playing at a very high level right now,” said Chip Brewer, Adams Golf CEO. “Tom stayed in the Top 10 for much of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am two weeks ago, he had a Top 10 finish at the MasterCard Championship in Hawaii and won the Wendy’s Champions Skins Game to start the season. It’s been an outstanding start to 2007 for Tom and Adams Golf.”

Along with Watson atop the leaderboard, three other Adams Golf Tour Staff Pros finished in the Top 10 at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am; R.W. Eaks (T4), Scott Hoch (T7), and D.A. Weibring (T10).

ADAMS GOLF TOUR STAFF PRO SCOTT STERLING CAPTURES FIRST NATIONWIDE TOUR WIN

Adams Golf Tour Staff Pro Scott Sterling overcame a crowded leaderboard at the Jacob’s Creek Open Championship to claim his first victory on the Nationwide Tour. With 18 players within four strokes of the lead on Sunday, Sterling’s calm approach and focused game plan helped him finish at 12-under par, one stroke ahead of the next competitor.

Sterling spent much of 2006 playing on the Tight Lies Tour, sponsored by Adams Golf, where he ranked #1 on the money list. He made his first career start on the PGA TOUR in June of last year at the FedEx St. Jude Classic where he finished T38. He was a member of the Nationwide Tour in 2002-05. With this victory, Sterling moves to the top of the 2007 Nationwide Tour Money List.

Along with Sterling, other Adams Golf Tour Staff Pros were in the hunt, including Brad Ott, who finished T8 at 8-under-par and Brad Elder and Jason Enloe, who both finished at 2-under and T31.

Equipment Counts

ADAMS GOLF HYBRIDS CONTINUE TO BE PLAYED BY MORE PGA, CHAMPIONS AND NATIONWIDE TOUR PROS, COMBINED, THAN ANY OTHER HYBRID ON THE MARKET.

Before introducing a new product to consumers, most of the Adams Golf equipment is thoroughly tested by the best players in the world. Each week on tour, the Darrell Survey is conducted at every event. This survey shows what golf clubs are being played by every tour pro. The numbers are compiled and the official Equipment Count is released after every event. In 2006, Adams Golf hybrids ranked #1 on the combined equipment count of the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours -- and so far in 2007 (as indicated below) that trend continues as more tour pros prefer Adams Golf hybrids above the rest.
