Bernhard Langer

Bernhard, a two-time Masters Champion, turned pro in 1972. His career began with three German National Championships before making his entrance on the American stage in 1985 by winning his first of two Green Jackets. Winning two Masters Championships, 70 international tournaments, playing on 9 Ryder Cup teams and serving as captain of another, Langer earned induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002.

Langer’s most recent success came in Dec. 2006 when he led Team Germany to its second World Golf Championship. That win came on the heels of Langer and his son, Stefan, winning their second consecutive Del Webb Father/Son Challenge title on Dec. 2, 2006.

Bernhard started playing golf at age 7 through caddying, and turned pro at 15. He is a devout Christian and helped organize the regular meetings of the European Tour Bible Class.
