Dana played collegiate golf at the University of Rhode Island and is a member of that school's Hall of Fame. He has no other hobbies besides golf and plays virtually every day. Like most New Englanders, Dana is a die-hard Red Sox fan and has thrown out first pitches at four Major League Baseball stadiums, including Fenway Park.
