Brittany opened the eyes of many in the golf world when she burst onto the scene as an amateur at the 2005 U.S. Women’s Open. With a tie for second place that year, along with her very successful rookie season in 2006 on the LPGA Tour, Lang still has the attention of those watching her. Her first full season as an LPGA Tour player, Lang recorded seven Top-10 finishes and ranked 21st on the 2006 Money List. Her best finishes in 2006 came at the Wegmans LPGA in June (T3) and the Mizuno Classic in November (T3). With an average driving distance of 269 yards, Lang ranked #6 on tour in the category. Additionally, she recorded 322 birdies during the year, ranking ninth in that category. Brittany started playing golf at the age of 9. Her brother, Luke, who was an All-Conference golfer at Arkansas Tech, caddies for her. Her hobbies include working out, shopping, watching and play all types of sports and spending time with her family. |
