Biography
Having captured back-to-back RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship titles in 2008 and 2009, 21-year-old Canadian Jamie Sadlowski has emerged as the world's premier power golfer.
Sadlowski, a former junior hockey player who hails from St. Paul, Alberta, electrifies galleries with his fearless, full-bore golf swing. He routinely registers clubhead speed of more than 140 mph and ball speed exceeding 210 mph with his Adams Speedline driver.
In contrast to his contemporaries on the Long Drivers of America (LDA) circuit, who resemble NFL linebackers or tight ends, Sadlowski stands 5-11 and weighs 170 pounds. But his unique combination of flexibility, sinewy strength and ferocious speed have produced a series of dominating performances, dating back to two RE/MAX junior world long drive titles in his teens.
