I thought I would love it!
I really thought I would love this club as there are not many Titanium fairway woods, but I was wrong and I'm selling it. My wife paid top dollar back in the summer as a gift, but it hasn't lived up to my expectations. I'm a short hitting 6hdcp and was hoping for more distance and the same accuracy as my old Cleveland Launcher Titanium 15 degree, but not the case. I'm way more wild with this club and the Fubuki Reg shaft and the Cleveland is just as long. When I tested it at the PGA store, I was impressed and thought I had to have it. But $300 for a fairway wood is too much money when you just hit it fair. I really had trouble hitting it off tight lies and agree with others about the black wearing off quick on the sole. Also, I ditched the stock Adams grip soon after buying because it was much slicker than just a Golfpride Tour Velvet. Back to my Cleveland and happy now.

Favorite Club of All Time, but durability is an issue
This is my Excalibur club, my playing partners are afraid when I reach into the bag to hit from the tee with this. I purchased the x-stiff 13 degree XTD fairway wood almost 2-months ago and my fairway in regulations have gone up 30%. What I now find myself doing is playing this club on almost all par 4's under 500yds or less, its just that accurate for me. That said, the other week, while out of town playing a tournament, the sole plate on the toe went flying and with it my scoring for the round. I returned the club to golf smith and they notified me that Adams has stopped making this club due to the sole plate issue.. Now listen Adams, DON'T STOP MAKING THIS CLUB! Just fix the issue and put this things back on the market, it is a great club that I recommend to anyone looking for a new FW, otherwise this club would have received 5/5 in every category.

Looks good, feels good, and performs really well
This is the most expensive club I have ever bought yet worth every penny. It carries the ball 15 yds further than my other 3 woods, thanks to generating 130+ ball speed on my 92 mph swing. It does better than a driver on anything other than an into wind shot. Terrific!

Holy Hot Club!!
I just got my XTD super fairway, 14.5* x flex Fubuki 65 gram, yesterday, and omg, HOT! I have been looking for a fairway that would add 15 to 20 yards and this is it. I compared the Rocketballz and R 11 s ,and for me, the XTD is easily 10 to 15 yards longer. 270-280 is now back in range. I hit a tee shot 325 yards with a small breeze at my back. The XTD is a monster. I strongly suggest giving this club a try.
Disclaimer-I am 6' tall, 210 lbs scratch player, with 110+ mph clubhead speed.

Stay far, far away from this mistake
Reading many positive reviews about the S XTD and in love with the great Fubuki AX shaft- Diamana rules!!!, I took ownership of a 14.5 Stiff. I'm a 6 H, fly my D3 245, Mizuno M59 7 iron 155-160. The XTD is longer than my 909 F2, some rolled out 250 on the sweet spot which is very small. Not very forgiving. Off the deck is where my 3 wood lives and this one is awful. Just doesn't have the feel & balance of the T. I wanted to love this expensive club and was slapped hard across the face...Stay away from this one! Golfsmith won't take them on trade... Go figure!

Fragile, but long and accurate fairway wood.
Been a supporter of Adams since the 9064LS driver and played CB2's and CB1's in the past. Own the 13 fairway and 17 and love the clubs while they are in one piece.
The problem is that the sole plate on the 13 keeps coming off and sailing down the fairway which causes the round to go out the window as well as having to listen to my partners give me grief for the rest of the day and offering super glue. Adams has repaired the club twice but all the down time has tarnished what otherwise would have been a great experience.

Best 3 wood I ever played
The best 3 wood I have ever hit. I bought the 13 degree xtd stiff shaft. Had to wait for almost 2 months after ordering it. Well worth the wait. First time I ever hit the club on the course, off the deck, I hit it 260 yards. On a short par 4 I hit it off the tee 275 yards. Great club. Easy to hit and sets up well. Only used it once, so I can't comment to its durability.
