Great playability with good forgiveness in a forged iron.
Had a set of Hogan Apex blades and was looking for a little more forgiveness in a forged club, and looking to move up in technology from 1996!!
Was looking across the board in product offering and ended up strapping on the Adams (all there forged offerings) at a demo. Ended up zeroing in on the A12 Pro's and really liked the look and feel of these clubs. The black club face against the ball really looks sharp. The ball really rockets of the face (forged are the best!) and the club has good maneuverability. Taking the new sticks to the course was a joy. I was hunting flags better
than I have in 2 years! All the lofts are about 1 degree stronger so I had to down one club on my yardages and that was the only adjustment I had to make. Where you aim the club face is where the ball will go! These clubs have a very nice appearance at address and the minimal offset just gives you the confidence to go ahead and pull the trigger, The cavity back design gives some forgiveness to not tank the shot but enough feedback to let you know what's going on. There are a lot of good clubs out there, and I am really glad I gave Adams a look. These folks really know how to make a forged players club.

Play as awesome as they look..!
Confidence galore with the balanced feel of each iron in the bag. There is something calming for me looking down at the dark finish of the heads along with KBS tour smoke shafts and feel of the half cord golf pride - they all inspire me to hit a good shoot..! Great feel, feedback and forgiveness...best forged club I've played yet!

better and better
I'm a 9 'cap - pretty good iron player and was happy with my Mizuno MP-60's - but having won a drawing for a set of irons at my club, I started a search for a new set of irons, without really believing that any set could be much better than my Mizunos.
How do they do it? I got the 'word' from my club junkies to check out the adams stuff - and tried the MB2 and new CMB, but this A12Pro is really it for me. every couple of years, even though you think it can't get better, it does.
And I mean better - better alignment set up, better weight distribution, easier to swing, OMG....incredible feel. A bit more distance and even easier to work a bit. I'm still getting used to them, but they give you that old fashioned "wilson staff' or 'hogan apex' feel when you hit it right -- and plenty of distance even when you hit it wrong.
These are very pleasurable clubs to have added. Bravo Adams!

I switched but stayed true
I purchased the A12os set a couple of months ago. At that time I felt that I had purchased the best set of clubs for me. I tried them all. For 4 hours I went through set after set. I settled on the A12os hybrid Irons set. I played then for 15 rounds and LOVE them. The only issue, was I could not for the life of me hit the. 5 or 4 hybrid. No matter what I did, I just could not hit them straight or even remotely straight. I went back to where I purchased them and started looking again. All the new wiz bang named clubs with millions in advertising dolars spent on them, they just did not cut it with my swing or my need to feel the club during the swing.
Adams had the answer again in the A12 pro Iron set. I could not believe that the feel of these Irons were actually better than their sister club the OS. No Hybrids made this a great choice in this set for ME. After fitting I always go and hit 5 balls and average the shot carry on the screen. The 12pros were about 4 yards longer per club Pw-7, the long irons were so easy to hit. The first round I played with them, I had 205 to the green and a nice solid swing with my new 5 iron did the trick nicely. I can honestly say that ADAMS has completely changed the confidence in my game. I just hope their new parent company leaves them to do what they do best. That is make the best golf clubs in the industry, PERIOD

Some of the best irons I've ever hit
I just got a set of these irons and they are great. They have a very soft feel and are forgiving in mis-hits. Playing blades in the past, the look is easy to get used to. They are long also. They are heavier than some irons but this has turned out to be good.

New (personal) course record
I tried out everything from Adams, Taylormade, Titleist AP2, Ping and Callaway and kept coming back to the Adams Pro A12. Everyone I asked confirmed these were the sticks to take my game to a new level. To test further, I borrowed some CB2's for a few weeks and fell in love with Adams. After custom fitting, (KBS x-stiff, 2-flat) I finally took my new A12's out for their first 18 holes. In 5 years I'd never broken 80 at my home course. First round with the Adams Pro A12's I shot 73!
These sticks have the best combination of look, feel and forgiveness in any lie - fairway, rough, sand, hardpan, etc. I gained a club in distance and more control to attack greens than I ever had with my prior set of TM's or Callaway's. Standing over a shot, the dark finish looks amazing and the weight of the club gives you the confidence to swing easy - no need to overswing - and so easy to work the ball high/low or draw/fade.

If you are considering new irons, you need to check out the Adams Pro A12
I have played Mizuno MP60 for the last few years. I didn't realize how unforgiving they were until I hit the A12's.

REALLY a nice set of irons
I have been playing the original Adams Idea Pro for 5 years or so, and from my first shot with them, absolutely LOVED them. Over the past 2 years or so, I tried to 'upgrade' to newer equipment, but couldn't find anything I liked better.
I've finally found an upgrade - the Idea A12 Pro. Every shot is on target, and smooth. Every shot is crisp, sounds great, and feels like 'a hot knife through butter'.
I'm REALLY pleased with these irons!
