Idea Super 9031 Hybrid
Great hybrid. Well worth it
Great hybrid. I have never liked the look of hybrids. I hit my long irons very well. I replaced my 3 iron because its impossible for me to hit my small blade 3 iron out of tall grass without hooking it left. You can do it with this hybrid. Good shaft too.

A "True" Hybrid
After struggling to stop hooking with my RBZ Hybrids I decided to seek
replacements. I was looking for a hybrid which would give me confidence to
commit to a shot without the fear of hooking whilst maintaining the distance
of the RBZ's.
After trying out several manufacturer's and styles I found that the Adams
Super 9031 Proto Hybrid ticked all the boxes. I trialled the Regular Flex
20 degree (3Hy) version.
They have a smaller head than most of the current hybrids, which
encouraged me to adopt the swing of a long iron. I have found that most
appear to look like fairway woods, resulting me adopting the same swing etc as
a fairway wood, which may have been a contributing factor to the hooks I
was hitting. The ball comes of the face with great pace and an emphatic
boring flight. The smaller head (80cc) has a VST Cut Through Sole Slot and
also a Slot on the topside with a high desnisty maraging steel face which
results in an ultra-thin face design which is claimed to encourage higher ball
speeds resulting in extra distance. Shaft:
The standard flex Mitsubishi Diamana D+82 Shaft gives a great solid
feeling which combined with the balanced head gives a great feel through the

This club has given me great confidence when using the hybrid from fairway,
tee and light rough. I have been so impressed with this club that I also
purchased the 23 degree (4 Hy) variant to complete my gap between 3 wood
and 5 iron.
I would highly recommend this model of hybrid to Mid and Low Handicappers.
