For years I have been a fan of the Callaway drivers and had an old Warbird driver. I tried the Speedline and loved it. I love the way it feels when I swing the club, but most of all I love the distance and accuracy it gives me. I am killing my drives now - at least 15-20 yards longer and I'm hitting more fairways. Because I love this driver so much I am considering switching out my Callaway 3 wood for an Adams 3 wood.
My Favorite Feature I love the extra distance.

I got this club on ebay with 9.5 loft, with black stiff shaft of unknown maker. I took it out to my local course in Australia, on the 7th which is a 240 meter, down hill par 4.
I will aim for the green I thought. Low and behold it carried all the way to the flag, resting 7 inches from the hole. Thats 270 yards of carry for a 58 year old. I just swung normally, smooth swing. I could feel the increased club head speed and limited drag with a great sound to match. I had 'clunked my cobra driver' on the first few holes. What a great sound this adams. On subsequent holes I found I could work the club both ways. I had also been using the Calloway 460 (non tour) the round before and had been hooking the ball badly, then i read it was designed that way to fight slices! The adams is great, very neutral. I just wish I knew the shaft manufacturer and type as well. At least I don't have to change it!

Played a round of golf at my local course on saturday after warming up on the range for 1/2 hr to get used to the new driver. Have been hitting a Speedline 10.5 degree driver for the past year to 250-260 yards. With the windy conditions here in No. Nevada I wanted a lower trajectory to get better distance in the wind. Boy I made the right choice!!! Recieved the 9.5 degree driver on friday. I was at least 30-40 yards longer off the tee, hit more fairways than I usually do. Birdied a par 5 and had 10 pars for the best round of golf in my life! I play Adams Products exclusivly from the Idea Pro Forged Irons which I love to the Speedline Fairway woods. All are unbelievable when hit pure! I am a true fan of Adams Golf. The 9.5 degree driver sets up perfectly and inspires confidence. The sound when the ball is struck is the sound of power! People at the driving range came over to check out the driver I was hitting, my best drive was just over 300 yards with an average of 277 yards for the day. I'll tell anyone spend your money on Adams you can't go wrong!!!!
