We want you to learn more about the outstanding people who are behind the great golf clubs and products you play from Adams. In this latest installment of “Get To Know Adams Golf” we introduce you to Dinah Plyler

Dinah is one of our Outside Sales Reps who is based in Austin, TX. Being an outside sales rep means that she is responsible for getting Adams Golf products into the hands of the consumers to test out and experiment with in the South Texas Region.

Here’s more from Dinah:

I grew up in Columbia, SC and started playing golf when I was 8 years old.  I am a diehard South Carolina Gamecock fan!!  I played golf for the College of Charleston and studied business administration.  Right after graduation, I moved to Dallas, Texas to work in inside sales/customer service at Adams.  After doing that for 2 years, I got the job as the South Texas sales rep and moved to Austin!  I have been here ever since (just started my fourth year) and absolutely love it!  Since living in Austin, I made some great friends, recently became engaged to my best friend, and am getting married in February of 2013!  Life is good!

Q: How did you get started with Adams Golf?

I played golf in college and wanted to be in the golf industry for as long as I can remember.  I applied right out of school and got the job so I moved straight to Dallas within a month of graduation!

Q: What is one interesting fact about yourself that you are willing to share?

I can crow like a rooster/gamecock and have been known to do this many times while the Gamecocks are winning.  People in TX think I’m crazy!

Q: What are you favorite hobbies, activities, places to visit, etc.?

I love to travel, be on the lake, play golf (obviously), bake, and hang out with good friends and family.

Q: What was your dream job growing up?

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a golf sales rep – can’t believe that is what I get to do everyday!  I’m so lucky!

Q: What is your favorite/best club in your golf bag? Why?

Driver – no matter how long its been since I have played, I can pretty much guarantee to hit this one in the middle
