Great interview. It would have been nice to hear it in its entirety and not in 4 chopped up bits.
I really liked these interview/discussions. It is so obvious that Adams spens their money where it REALLY counts — in true product innovation based on sound physics and classy design presentations. I got started with the hybrids and just bought a set of the Pro Black MB irons. I put Precision Project X Flighted 6.0 shafts in them becaus ethe new black shaft is a bit too soft for the better player with higher swing speeds. They are simply the best looking and performing iron set I ever played in my life of 61 years of golf. I will say they are instrumental in me having a USGA indexed handicap of 4.9 , on the way down.
WAY TO GO ADAMS! The new Pro Black is truly a thing of beauty and the most workable club I have ever tried. It is supremely solid, sets up cleanly at the ball, and IMHO, encourages more solid shotmaking because of the confidence that comes from such a clean look at address. This may be the best work you have done to date for the advanced player.
I couldn’t agree more with Chip on the marquis ambassador of Tom Watson. A class act all the way, insightful, honest, honorable, and frank on tough questions. Oh, yeah, he plays a mean game at 60.
Time will tell if Tiger and others of this age will still be trhreatening major victories when they are his age now.
Bernhard Langer is cut from the same cloth. Though not a native-born American, he carries the same ideals, honor, and thoughtfulness as does Tom Watson.
He plays a pretty mean game, too, I hear tell.
Somebody there at Adams did their homework and Adams is fortunate to have two such terrific men as representatives of the game in their camp. I bought ADAMS because of its inherent value of product, but having those two men as representatives makes me proud to be associated in the same golf family, though unfortunately from a far distance.
great blog thank you
