As if one Major championship was not enough, Adams Golf staff member Bernhard Langer didn’t let a change in continents or pesky jet lag get in his way of claiming his second victory in as many weeks at the U.S. Senior Open Championship. Carrying the same bag of Adams Golf products that he did at Carnoustie, Bernhard put together four rounds in the 60s for the first time in his Champions Tour career to finish at 8-under for the tournament, clinching a three-shot victory. By claiming his fourth trophy of the year, Bernhard vaulted into first place on the Champions Tour money list and extended his lead in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup points race.
In capturing his win, Bernhard played the Speedline driver (9.5 deg.), Insight fairway wood (12.5 deg.), Idea Pro hybrid (18 deg.) and Idea Pro Black irons (6-PW).
Adams Golf also won the hybrid count at the U.S. Senior Open Championship, marking the 128th straight victory for our team!
